Hey, I'm going to be doing a traditional animation over at 11 Second Club this month! If you don't know what that is, head on over and check it out. It's a monthly animation contest and a great way to sharpen your skills. Here are some of my concept sketches. I'll be doing more on this tomorrow.
Ok cool I've found my USB cable now but I'm not quite ready to post more images. Instead, here are some animation tests from Preston Blair's book. I tried to apply the wave lesson to a number of types of stiffnesses.
Ok maybe just one for now, Blogger isn't liking me right now.
Not with the drawings really, but I just recently moved and I've lost my scanner USB cable! I'll scour my place tomorrow to find it and try to get my most recent drawings up soon. Sorry for the delay.
Aside from that, this blog will chronicle my struggle to become an animator while attending school, learning on my own, and participating in creating cartoons.
I'm a huge fan of videogames and animation, and the communication potential inherent in both. One day I'd like to help direct feature length animations. I'm intensely analytical and I can be a fairly wierd guy.
